NFCU is the REAL DEAL !
Well after lurking and reading many posts, I decided to join NFCU. I called-in my member application on the phone during the memorial day weekend and received an email a few days later requesting identity documentation, which I promptly emailed. Then, a few more days later, I had my membership and savings account. I then registered for online access and decided to open a checking account. I also immediately applied for the Signature Visa , which was approved for $10K and became visible online 48 hours later. Then, I decided to apply for the CLOC, and requested the max $15K limit. I was conditionally approved within 48 hours, and then I received a phone request for a bank statement and Pay stubs. I returned these immediately. A week later the promissory note came in the mail. I signed and faxed it in and 24 hours later the CLOC became visible online. So, a few weeks after becoming a member, and 3 HP's later, I am now enjoying new total CL's of $25K from NFCU, as advertised by so many others here, as well as the banking and credit services including Checking, Savings, Signature Visa and CLOC !!! I'm going to check out their new vehicle financing programs when I return from the Garden next year.
Beats any commercial bank for sure !
Thanks All for the advice.
Note: Use credit responsibly
Congrats on the approvals with NFCU!
