Asked for $1500, approved for $1,500. They're mailing me forms, but how does this work? I have a checking and savings acct with direct deposit with NFCU. Do they add the loan to my checking account after I mail the forms back to them? Thanks for any info ![]()
Grats on your personal loan ![]()
Congrats! Thanks for sharing.
out of curiousity what do you need a $1500 personal loan for if you have credit and navcheck with them?
was it instant?

I was bored?
I applied late last night and received an email this morning (and a text message) that it was approved. I'm going to pay it all this month, so I won't be accumulating interest. And I honestly really don't know how to use navcheck.
congrats

When you were approved for NavCheck, they sent you checks for you to use for it.
I'm confused though, you applied for a $1500 personal loan, for no specific reason? It will not help your credit to have it, and pay it off immediately. I just paid off my $10k USAA personal loan within 6 months, and i regret it slightly, as far as widening my credit portfolio

It'll be a seperate account...should be something like this from top to bottom.
checking
savings
LOC
Loan
you can set up auto pay from check or savings or just pay when due from your accounts. I hope this helps

I did not say anything about this loan "helping my credit". I wanted to see if I would get the loan, and I did. And in all honesty, it's no one's business why I applied for the loan, but being that a member did ask why I applied for the loan, I did not mind answering that question. When I post my approvals on here, it's to share my experience, my credit scores, and my credit history with other members. The reasoning behind applying for the loan is irrelevant. NFCU didn't even ask me why I wanted the loan. Sorry to hear about ythe slight regret with your USSA loan, but my loan will be paid in full well before the first payment date next month.
