My 6th statement cut after my previous CLI so I requested a CLI again and to my surprise it went to review. Even more of a surprise is it didnt allow me to enter a requested amount for the CLI this time. Is this new? random ? Just when I thought I had them figured out ![]()

the CLI thing now just automatically considers you for the maximum $8,000 CLI
ask support the date of your last CLI and then add 6 months to it, I tried 180, 181, 182, 183 days and all of them came back as "too early" when before that worked for me, I was finaly approved when it was exactly 6 months/6 statements later

Congratulations on your CLI @Creditwiser I haven't posted it, but NFCU gave me an increase also and I noticed the amount requested was not there. It went pending for a few hours and then I found approved for another $6500.00. I was happy with that.

Ok so it is new in the last 6 months. My last CLI request, exactly 6 months and 6 statements ago, as well as all previous requests over the years, allowed me to request a certain amount which I did and was approved. Now it didnt let me select an amount.

Thank you @Rebuild2019 but I havn't been approved for the CLI yet. I assume it will be approved though. I don't mind the new protocol as I'm close to max on the card anyway. Just struck me as strange, But Congrats on your CLI !!

feel free to secure message and ask for the digital copy of the denial letter if you don't see an approval in the next day or so, my request went pending as well and it was approved after review

Must be very new beause I applied for and was granted a CLI on my CashRewards card about a month ago. I knew the $8000/CLI rule so I asked for $500 more than that amount and, sure enough, the next day saw the increase of $8000 on CL.
