Got an approval today for the Platinum. It was hilarious. I just became a member today AND I got approved for the card. This is the funny part....I wanted to transfer over a $7000 balance on my Discover card.(I know..it's too high. working on it). I put the transfer in with the application and they gave me a $500 starting credit line!!! They had to review my account...it was not an instant approval. I prequalified and when they reviewed it..that's what i got. BWAHHHHHHHH! I'm about to call them and say....did you forget a 0? You only gave me $500. hahahhahahhah so funny. But I guess it will grow if they don't up it after a recon. So funny. I opened a Pen Fed last week and they gave me a $5000 starting credit line. I have as $15,000 CL on my Discover card. This credit game is hilarious.

They can super surprise you with satisfaction on subsequent card approval lines and CLI's. NFCU is very top notch!
