I didn't really expect much, but received an instant approval for $6,000 for the Flagship! Pretty excited. As of now I have the $24,000 CL Platinum, $14,000 CLOC, and now the $6,000 Flagship card.
I've been an NFCU member since early July and have run several hundred dollars in purchases through my Platinum card, while paying in full each month. I've only used the CLOC once just to try it and paid it back in full two days after using it. I hope this information helps someone and have a great day!

Yes, the CLI for the first card was SP due to it being instant approval. There really is no way to tell in advance whether approval will be instant or whether it will go to review; one just has to try and hope for the best!

NFCU is funny sometimes and difficult to predict, and I hope the data point helps someone. The first time I applied for a 2nd card, it was a Cash Rewards and that was when they wanted POI. This was in October - and the very same day they requested POI for the 2nd card, they immediately granted a CLI to $24,000 on my first card with no POI needed.
Fast forward to December 2016 - applied for the Flagship card as my proposed 2nd card this time instead of the Cash Rewards, but the particular card applied for should make no difference. Odd how POI is required one minute and not the next for a different card application so close to the prior 2nd card app.
Also a quick note to my dear friends that I will be away from myfico for the next month due to a serious family situation needing my care and attention. I will miss myfico friends but will return as soon as I am able to do so.
