I was debating on pulling the trigger to apply for the navy federal platinum card on new years eve. See initial post here >>> Re: Apply for Navy Platinum or wait? - myFICO® Forums - 6217583
After some debate, I applied and got 5k at 5.99% after 12 months 0%. I was shooting for 7k for a balance transfer. Upon taking the advice of another member here, I sent a secure message to request a slightly higher limit to 7200 for the transfer. Just got approved for 25k on my platinum card. I have been a member for 5 days now. Not including my Amex with no preset spending limit, this is now my highest limit card by 5k. So happy I took the risk and went for the platinum card on my first application rather than going for a rewards card and banking on my second card being a better SL.
Holy Fico🤯🤯🤯
Thats Amazing...thats Navy🚢
You've inspired me to take a risk and recon my last approval
. I know i shouldnt get more, most likely wont, but if you dont try or ask you never know. If i didnt risk with Navy id still be with a $500 CR
. THANKS
Good luck AJC!! We're pulling for you!
Thanks! I know its along shot, heck, could even ask to move limits, but wth, could become a 40k...illionaire
