It was an unsecured card. But I do have my salary direct deposited into Navy and I maintain a savings account there.

Another reason its better to start with $500Smiley Wink. Getting 25k off the bat spoils people but waiting 3 months shows maturity😄

Start what with $500? Sorry to hijack, I'm trying to figure out how to get started with them, so if your comment means start with a secured card and $500 CL, that's my answer. Smiley Happy

Also, I have a Cap One Venture One Card with a $3100 CL. I've been working that card awaiting the passage of 6 months since my last CLI, which was a $2000 increase back in December. Today they increased me a measly $300 to $3400. It's not nothing I guess and truth is, I was working towards the Navy luv anyway!

I started at Navy 3 months ago with a Cash Rewards Card, $500 credit limit. I hit my 91/3 yesterday and this morning I applied for the Flagship Rewards Card. Instant approval... $25,000 SL at 9.99%!! Also requested a CLI on the Cash Rewards and got the 24 hour review notice. Also, I have a Cap One Venture One Card with a $3100 CL.
