Thanks in large part to information learned on this awesome forum, I closed on a newly constructed home a few weeks ago with a 4% fixed 30 year interest rate. Since then, I've been approved for the following:
$5,000 STAR FURNITURE (24 month no interest)
Star has in-house financing and ususally requires excellent credit for approval (no BK, lates, etc). However, I was approved with a downpayment of 25%.
$7,000 CONN'S HOME STORE (24 month no interest)
Conn's is easy on approvals, but higher scores and income get pretty decent limits
$3,000 GE - Ashley Furntiure (60 month no interest)
I burned GE bigtime in BK back in 2010 so wasn't sure they would extend credit to me, but they did from numerous vendors.
$1,000 GE - Rooms to Go (36 month no interest)
$500 GE - Lowes
Off to the garden I go!
CONGRATS and welcome to the Homeowner's Club! I'm coming up on my 6th year of membership in October and I love it here! Join us in the garden and watch those CL's increase!!!
Congrats! Thanks for sharing.
Congrats on the new cards and the new house!!
Woohoo!! WTG on your new card approval and congratulations on your new home.

OP, don't run off just yet before recon on your Lowe's approval. That 500 SL can easily translate into 5000! or better due to it's generous recon department. Something maybe to consider before folding up this current run. When you explain to them that you just closed on a newly constructed home they'll be more then ready to drastically raise that limit.
Congrats! on a nice approvals!
yes but ask for $25k, they will counter back!
