Newegg Preferred Account Approval, 2k

Still pissed that I can't use my Paypal Credit at all because I have Paypal Smart Connect already, I decided to pull the trigger on the Newegg Preferred Account and what you know? I got the welcome email right now saying that I had been approved for 2k! Wasn't expecting that much but that's more than enough for me to finance my drawing tablet and have it so that it won't be reported to credit bureaus, so it won't affect my utilization or anything. And with a much better limit than what Comenity gave me for PP Credit as well. I guess I can go ahead and close that one now.

Re: Newegg Preferred Account Approval, 2k

Congrats!!! You need to use another email address to create another PayPal account. You need to make your PayPal smartconnsect to business account.  Link PayPal Credit to new PayPal account. You might need to PayPal or BillMe Later if you have any problem.

Alright. That's what I kinda tried doing with Paypal Credit. I made a new Paypal account with a completely different email and upgraded that one to the business version but it still wasn't working for me for some reason.

You need to match all info exactly the same for both PayPal accounts and PayPal Credit. It won't link to PayPal account if one item doesn't match. You need to call PayPal or PayPal Credit to verify your info. By the way, they might freeze your PayPal Credit account for security reason. They might transfer to security question to unfreeze your account. It might tak 30 mins to solve your problem. Let me know if you have any question You can send me PM if you have any question.

I see. So if the information on both the Paypal Credit and new Paypal account I created matches, it should work I assume? I tried doing that and still kept getting an error message so I'm gonna have to call them again later to have it fixed. Also there are some good discounts that PP Credit offers so I guess I can keep the account for that.

I called them again today and it turns out I just had to answer some security questions and 5 minutes after I answered each question correct, I was able to link Paypal Credit with my second Paypal account with no problems! Thank you so much for helping me.
