Was in a Nordstrom Rack store yesterday and decided to apply for their card. I already have the debit card but haven't used it for almost a year. I didn't think I would be approved, but had some luck getting a PC from Cap One Platinum to a QucksilverOne with a CLI to $1000 in Nov. a couple of Comenity cards with SP's and Target over the holiday. So when the cashier asked about applying I thought why not....all they can do is say no.
I was shocked when the cashier said "you've been approved" and gave me my receipt with my temporary card. I said "oh wow thanks Norsdstrom!" I was all prepared to use the debit card for the purchase which was only $45. The real shock came when I called to see what my credit limit was.......$1500!! 
I thought it would be a lot lower after reading through the forums and seeing people have been getting lower SL's with higher scores than me.
Now time to sit back and garden for a while and watch my scores increase and one day qualify for their Visa Sig!!
