I apped yesterday day for a PenFed gold and was approved with a great SL. This morning in the mail I got an offer for the Wells Fargo Active Cash card. I have been thinking of replacing my citi DC card as they went to points and I prefer cash back. Since the HP isn't showing up on my reports yet I figured I would give it a shot. Approved for 22K. I have never had a limit that high let alone a SL. I do all my banking with WF and have long relationship with them so I'm sure that helps. In the last 24 hours I have been approved for 33K between the two cards. Now I'm going into the Garden.
I want to give hope to those in the rebuild process. In 2010 my scores were in the low 500's. Lots of Collections and a public record. With time, financial coaching and a much better job I now have scores in the high 790's and low 800's. If I had a mortgage my scores would probably be higher. Keep at your rebuild it will payoff!
