Well, this was a little embarassing.
I had been through the Lowe's card prequalification links from Synchrony multiple times over the past six months. I wasn't sure I wanted it, but had been seeing what terms I would be approved for if I applied. Late one night, on my mobile phone, and guess who hit the wrong link (APPLY) instead of (PREQUALIFY). Oops. *I'm late posting about this approval since I was busy traveling for business but I was approved on 02/27/24.
At any rate, it was a very good approval, as high as I've seen on other SLs recently: $13K. When I applied for the Synchrony Verizon, they hard pulled my TU file. This time, it was EX. At the time, my FICO 8 EX was 822. I simultaneously applied for two cards within minutes, so my EX inquires were 0/6; 1/12; 5/24. My new personal accounts were 0/6; 6/12; 7/24.
Since I already get a 10% everyday discount (military) at Lowe's, the 5% card discount (which cannot be stacked) is worthless to me, but it does include the special financing terms. And I do shop at Lowe's often. The SUB was rather a joke since it was a coupon good for only one week after I applied, was only valid for one purchase, and was worth 20% off up to $100 in rewards (in other words, $500 maximum purchase for $100 maximum credit. And with my existing military discount, the most it was worth to me was $50 more ... if I purchased $500 .) I didn't need anything big at Lowe's that week so I just let it pass, plus I was traveling anyway.
This is only my 2nd current Synchrony card, along with Verizon. It appears the CL on Lowe's can go up to $35K easily without question, so I will probably push it along. Anyone care to refresh my memory on the CLI policies on the Lowe's card? Thanks in advance.

Congratulations on your oops approval! FWIW, I'm a Home Depot guy.
very nice approval, I'm sure you'll get it up to $35k in no time

That's why I'm real careful around them pre-qualified links, lol. But, you got yourself a nice reward. Congratulations 🎊
Congratulations on your approval the only bad thing with approval like that is you need to use card once year or they may close the account none use.
Congratulations on your Lowes Cc with a whooping SL!

SP on CLI, but I'm sure you'll fare better than my $9k SL to $35k in two days, followed by closure of all SYF cards totaling $74k three days hence, which I have to laugh about now to ease the pain.
That was a mistake that was well worth it lol. Congrats on the approval and even more so THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!
WooHoo!! Congratulations on your Approval!!👏🏼🍾🥂
