Nice work. Was the limit increase a result of a soft or hard pull? Also, which bureau for either?

SP and they use Experian.  PNC CLI's are always SP as long as I have been with them for the last ~5 years.

Thanks for the feedback. I was concerned as the language is vague regarding authorization for the request. Was Experian thawed or was yours locked/ frozen by chance?

always keep all my reports locked.  Just keep it locked to be extra safe.  Never really read the wording as just knew personally it was always a SP

Thanks, confirmed it was a SP with EX thawed. $5K increase to $25K with ZERO usage in a year.

Congrat....Was there any spend or usage of card from the last increase to this increase? If so, how much was the usage on average? Do you think PNC might have allowed CL transfered from your cancelled cards to this one???

No, that's not how they evaluate things @Janneman.

Indeed.

Congrats on the PNC CLI @CreditCuriosity. I believe they start to get a little tighter once you reach the ~$25K - $30K threshold. Definitely keep testing to see how far this one can grow via SP.

Exposure-wise, I'm not sure what their ceiling is tbh or how they evaluate things since all of mine total >$100K in aggregate which includes legacy PNC and those that migrated from BBVA. So far no combos so they still play separately 😎

Re: PNC Cash CLI

I've been getting the max exposure letter for a while now. My Cash Rewards card is stuck at $20,500 and my junk - neutered - useless Points card (can you tell I miss my BBVA ClearPoints card??😢) is at $25,000, which is what it was when it was the BBVA card.

I got another denial for the same reason last week, but I'll keep trying.

My biggest frustration with PNC right now is that I get pretty good BT offers on the Rewards card, but never on the Points cards. If I could get a BT offer on the Points card, it could at least be somewhat useful. Right now it's nothing but utilization padding...

I constnatly either have BT offers or I believe checks mailed to me on the PNC cash card, but 4% meh and never really have a balance although carrying 700 on discover at a 2% offer at the time.  Keep hitting them up in the next month and see if you get some of same stuff as obviously I wasn't at max as Core was 17k and that was a new application 3 or so years ago and the points was a conversion.  Both of those cards are now gone so alot of hog wash abut max exposure maybe I was, but certainly not now.  With that said I would be **bleep** if carried anthing at 20+% interest so CL is sufficent, but as you mentioned if someone wants to use a BT fee then CL obviously plays a role.  Just a game for me to get all my line in the 20k+ range as only can open so many different bank cards, although i certainly try to open them.
