I received a "Pre-Selected" offer from PNC in the mail yesterday for their Points card with opt-out language and single interest rate quoted. After mulling it over a bit I decided to pull the trigger tonight.
APPLICATION APPROVED
Congratulations! Your application for a PNC points Visa has been approved, and you have been automatically upgraded to a PNC points Visa Signature.
Credit Limit $17,500
Introductory Annual Percentage Rate (APR) for Purchases 0% for the first 15 billing cycles following account opening. After that, the non-promotional APR for purchases will apply.
Current Non-Promotional APR for Purchases15.74%
Not exactly their best card and both the interest rate and SUB are mediocre, but I've already picked up a few cards from regional banks this year and I had never heard of PNC cards issued in New England so I figured why not. I may try to use it as leverage to get their Traveler in the future.
There is a DP worth noting: while PNC is reputed to be inquiry-sensitive my EX inquiry count - mid-teens over the last 12 months - didn't faze them.
Scores in my signature are within +/- 2 points of current, utilization < 1%.
Congrats! Nice limit.
Congrats. I get their mailers often. May have to take them up on it ;-). Nice SL.

Congrats! Fab limit as well.
Congrats on your approval and massive SL !!!

Congrats x10, I think that's pretty darn good from a PNC perspective!
Congratulations on your approval!
