Needed a to replace both my SoFi and Alliant for general spend. Decided to try PSECU as their card gives 2% when getting 500 DD (easy for me to do).
I was denied for Fidelity and PNC 2% cards so far went for this one and got approved for 15k! I've had a checking account with PSECU for a while now and now have a high general spend card with them.
I was denied the other cards as I have some balance transfer 0% I'm taking advantage of (Shield Visa, US Bank). Scores were 720s, income is about 65k.
Congratulations!
Congrats on the appproval!

Very nice SL, congratulations on your approval!
Congratulations on your Approval!!👏🏼🍾🥂
Congrats on your approval. I am an advocate for using credit unions for several reasons. I you tried the banks to get what you needed and they said no but your credit union said yes. I like how that story ends.
Congratulations.....Its a nice CU....I used to have one credit card from them many years back, but one day all of sudden they closed it and throw me out of their CU for aggressively aruging with one of their customer service reps....
Were you asked for POI either at the time of joining or at the time of getting credit card? If so, what kinda POI? How long after joining this CU did you apply for the credit card? Was there any deposit actions in between? Tnx
Congratulations on your approval. That's a nice CL and they are a nice credit union to do business with.

I don't recall how long ago I joined them. Probably about a year, maybe a bit more. They didn't ask for POI. If they asked, I usually provide paystubs, as I'm easily able to access them.
It was an instant approval and I didn't have to send in anything.
As for deposits nothing really. I just kept $5 in the account. I don't even remember why I signed up (it could of been a bonus a while back)
