I emerged from the garden to apply for this card! I was hesitant to try because I heard of others getting very small limits with higher Transunion score than mine (640). I decided to bite the bullet anyway since this card seems to grow very fast.

I've been a PayPal customer for many years so I’d hoped that would help my profile though the card is from Synchrony and I don’t have any of their cards. I clicked submit and then .... approved for $200. I must say I was somewhat disappointed until I saw that was the temporary limit and my actual limit when I receive the card is $4k!

Very pleased! Now in the garden until next year!

Congrats! That’s a good SL given to your score.

I messed up a while back and applied with a low 600 score and got a toy limit of 300. It’s like pulling teeth to get them to raise it now, no increase whatsoever. I wish I had not even app’d for the card honestly. But, such is life. You live and you learn. Eventually they might come around. It’s funny though, I got a mailer for a pre approved BBVA card 60 days later and they gave me $16K. Go figure!
