PenFed Approval

I know in my last approval thread I said I was going to garden....I lied.😏 I have been researching this card for a while. I kept saying I'd wait, but then the other part of my brain is I don't want to end up with too many inquiries and a denial later.

Late last night I thought I applied online, but when I didn't see any money pending from my card I decided to call. Good thing I did cause my application wasn't received. I spoke with CSR and decided to apply for the Platinum Visa Signature. I was approved for $10k SL. They pulled EQ which last I checked was 769 (may be a bit lower). This is my highest limit card thus far. I am definitely going to the garden (I am waiting to hear back from Uber Visa).

First, congrats on the approval!

Question for anyone else with regard to PenFed's growing quickly-- I have been with PenFed for over 6 months but less than 1 year. I got in with $10K SL as well.

Should I wait for January offers to see if I qualify for an SL increase?

It it realistic to go beyond $10K before 1 year anniversary of being a member?

Thanks!!!
