So this is surprising!! About two weeks ago I had my 91/3 with NFCU and I applied for my 2nd CC. It was approved $500. I was a little disappointed after reading about everyone sucess stories about their 2nd cc cl at NFCU. I was also disappointed that my highest non store cl was only $750 even though my FICO went from 500s to high 600s in the last 12 months. I did receive a cli on my 1st NFCU to $900, so that gave me a little comfort. Well, fast forward to today.. I was bored sitting at the dog park and started browsing PenFed website. I had been turned down by PenFed about 4 times over the last 2 years, even though I have a car loan and cloc with them. It's been about 3 months since my last denial from them and I was bored, so I said !:$
