So on the 29th I applied for PenFed Power Cash Rewards. On the 30th I received an email requesting copy of SSN card, a Govt issued ID and proof of residency. I provided all requested. On the 2nd I called to see if they received and they told me yes and I should have an answer in 24/48 hours. On the 4th I called and was told I was approved for 6k and I should receive an email with info. Oh the 5th I hadn't received anything but looked online and seen the approval was withdrawn so I called to see what was going and was told the typical I would receive a letter in the mail explaining.
Keep in mind I already have their platinum and my Equifax is 717. So I said hell and rolled the dice and immediately applied for their Gold Card and was instantly approved for the same 6k at a lower rate. Odd and I don't understand but still winning...
