Yesterday I came across @CreditMagic7's great post about his 4th PenFed Gold approval. I was shocked. I also have 3 cards with them and after trying several times for the Gold (as well as CLI) and being declined, I was pretty much over it. Yet, I was quite interested to see that there was now a prequalify option. Well hell, I just couldn’t help but hop on over to their site and try it out. It really is the jankiest website and I also needed to hit the "see offer" button a few times before it actually went through. When it did, it said pre-approved for $10K! 👀 Huh? The submit application button was there just staring at me so…hit it…a few times because that’s the way it is with their site, and finally…APPROVED for $10K at 17.99%! 🙌🏽 🙌🏽 HP from EQ as expected. I was not going to app for that darned card again but the PREQUALIFY was the hook. Glad I did. PenFed has really been good to me since joining in 2020. Coming up on 4yrs bk7 filing...grateful. 😊 The learning never ends from this great community. Thank you all!

Yep the site is really wonky. You have to stick with it until the SUBMIT! Preapproval is a great NEW feature.
