PenFed Pathfinder Approval

I've had my eyes on this card for a min. Currently have two PCR with credit lines of $2k & $2.5k respectively. Submitted online application and was instantly approved. Honestly, I was expecting a much lower limit so this was definitely a pleasant surprise. I'm 17 months post BK-7, 23 inquiries, tons of new accounts, 13% total utilization, AAoA 2yrs 5months. I also requested a line increase on one of the PCR card which went Under Review. Hoping for the best on that but either ways I'm just happy to finally get a travel card since I travel a lot.

Penfed is hot right now. I got approved for a PCR with a 7.5k sl a few weeks ago 1 year and 11 mos post bk7 dc. I was also shocked at the sl considering my highest cards are 3k - 4k. I have seen a flurry of approvals from penfed lately, even for folks with a bk on their report.

Congrats on the PenFed approval! I am such a PenFed fan now after they approved me for the same card with a $6K limit just 4 months after my BK7 discharge. That was twice as high as any other card limit I have received during my rebuild.

PenFed is awesome and I think you will be very happy with them!

I appreciate the messages and totally agree with everyone's sentiment on PenFed. They've been nothing short of amazing and pivotal to my rebuild. From my low APR auto loan refi, to two other PCR cards I was approved for all barely few months post discharge, I really have nothing negative to say about them. Although I've been a member for several years, it wasn't until after my BK that I became more active and set up a checking account and $1k bi-weekly direct deposit through them. Definitely looking forward to the continued relationship with them.
