I called PenFed this morning after getting a preapproval for a pre-check for a personal loan. I called and asked if I was eligible for a credit line increase. The rep said I was and asked if I wanted to submit an application. I said yes. I got approved for a $5000 increase. My SL was $2500 and now the CL is $7500. I did not see the luv button when I logged in but it seems that I was still eligible.

Separately, I got a $2000 on my Amex Blue Cash Preferred card last week. That brings my CL to $4000. Pretty decent bump. I requested the increase via chat.

Lots of people seem to think the presence or absence of the increase button indicates whether or not they are eligible for an increase. I have seen no such correlation. I think it's just that their website is terribly inconsistent.
