Penfed CLI Approved

Yes it's a HP unfortunately from EQ. So after a year I finally saw a link for Request for Credit Line Increase and click on it. Fill out all the info they are asking. Auto Approved for another 10K. Total Credit Limit is now 17.5k. I used this card for Costco and was carrying a balance as well.

UPDATE: So after i got the HP, I called member services to see if they can use the HP and check if I'm pre-approve to other cards and they say NO. They told me that they will pull another one whick of course I declined

Congrats for the hugh CLI! I am still waiting for the special link from PenFed. If not I will try to apply for the other PenFed card.

Congrats on the nice increase!

You don't have to wait for the link to appear. You can call and member services will process the request just the same. I learned this last month when I called for another issue and asked about an increase.

@coreyb80thank you for the info. Since they are going to charge a HP, I think I rather go for PathFinder. For my case, they said they are going to waive off the annual fee. Next time I will look for the CLI but I will wait until all my credit scores hit 800s before I do anything. I never get 800s at the same time ever. Maybe let them sit for a month first. The hp would be the same just like you apply for a new cc right?

Yep since they've already pulled your credit for the CLI they would use the same pull(within 30 days) if you went for another product. I applied for the Gold and Pathfinder Rewards Sig with the same pull last week.

Wow. Congrats and thank you for sharing. So, let's say I apply for PathFinder annd they pull a score. Then, I apply for CLI but they wouldn't do another pull since they just pull one on the previous application, right?
