7/31 Platinum rewards Visa Signature 25K approved instant

8/5 Tried for  Travel rewards Amex went for review

8/6 message from Penfed "You presently have the maximum aggregrate credit limit based on PenFed debt structure. Would you like to reduce the limit of your current Visa Signature card to accommodate the new account? If so, please indicate by how much."

lowered Visa to 20k and made Amex 5k

Is this normal for Penfed ?

What are the chances of CLI for both cards ?

First of all welcome to MF. Yes this is normal for Penfed. They will both grow. There is a $50k max aggregate limit for their credit cards. So you have room for growth.
