My First Starting Post !! (Ive posted replies, but never posted my own)
Heres the deal.. Back in November 2015 I kept get Capital One mail to apply. I am divorced and took a hard hit. I was like if I apply maybe they will stop sending the mail! I applied on line and automatically approved for $300 I was like Im not going to touch it .. but then my nephew needed photos for his Senior Year and my sister could not foot the entire bill. I used the card. I paid it off it was around Christmas. I used rarely. But something happened a 2 months ago. I was inspired by someone in the news. I decided to take a peak at my credit more...PS Just before they 5 month mark with CO I did a Credit Increase request and just got $100... but I'll take it. Then when the 5 month mark finally came they upped me another $350 - so that card has a line of $750!
I did a few disputes that easily came off. before that I was paying in full. So in April I applied for the Capital One Quick Silver Mastercard. I received a $500 limit. So that is $750 on the Platinum and $500 on the Quick Silver ...
Couple weeks ago went for Victoria Secret - cause I love them - got a $500 credit limit. I also did the Boscovs cause I shop there often - got a $500 credit limit. Both of these were soft pulls by Comenity. (I don't want a lot of store cards) !
Capital One Credit Wise has my Vantage 3.0 at 692
Credit Sesame has me at 659
Credit Karma has my Trans at 659 and Equifax has me at 630
Equifax itself has me at 605
Drum Roll I decided to get my Fico 8's
TU 660 | EQ 694 | EX 668 (how my FICO 8 Equifax is 694 and Equifax on its own site is 605 same day ??? )
I have stalked all Discover Postings here - reading rejections and approvals... the Bitter and the Sweet! I was so Jelly of the approvals!
Wishing it was me me me me ! Can't explain how I so want a Discover Card.
Gut wrenching that I could not apply before now... Moments ago I just said GO FOR the discover IT card!
Worse can happen is that I have to wait to try again.
Im Crying ... I was approved! I picked the PURPLE card ! Affectionately named my Purple Rain! No disrespect to the greatest and favorite artist. If you could of seen me in the dark with my hands over my eyes counting 60 seconds waiting for a yes or no!
I then thought they gave me a low start limit ... but no ! They gave me $3500 as a starting limit!
I am going to be so good to my Discover IT !

I would ignore the Equifax scoring. The fico 08 is the accurate one.
