Quicksilver 1 CLI

Opened my QS1 in April with $300 with auto CLI to $500 if I make the first 5 payments on time. 5th statement cuts in two days so I figured I'd give it a go before the auto CLI.

Capital One gave me a whopping $100 CLI to $400 Smiley IndifferentSmiley LOL

Wonder if they'll still give me an auto CLI to $500 lol

Re: Quicksilver 1 CLI

Congrats - probably not the increase for which you were hoping, but any day of the week and twice on Sunday, $400 > $300! Keep working things and the CLIs and everything else will begin to roll in - take it from someone who knows first hand Smiley Happy   Hang in there!

Re: Quicksilver 1 CLI

This is standard and the only time you can get 2 CLI in a 6 month period. Your credit steps CLI isn't impacted and depending on your spend and payment history for the last 3 month's, you could get much more than $500.

Re: Quicksilver 1 CLI

Congrats on the CLI! Same boat here. The requested increase won't interfere with your steps increase. Approved in late March for Cap 1 Platinum starting limit of $300. PC'd to Quicksilver in June and requested a CLI. SL now $400. Qualified for steps auto increase end of August and it should show up any day now. Here's hoping we make it to $750 instead of $500 like some of these folks have mentioned! My Discover card quickly outpaced my Cap 1 even though I got it a month later.

People have jumped up to $2-3000 for the steps increase because of how much they spend. Cap1 loves to see usage.

Congrats! We all have to start somewhere. Been there done that. Just like you. In time, and I mean it flies by. You'll be in position to get bigger and better cards in your future. May not seem like it now but you on your way.
