Quicksilver CLI Attempted...

I have been working hard to turn my credit around. Somehow I was prequalified for a Quicksilver card back in November with scores in the mid to upper 500s. Not Quicksilver One, but an actual Quicksilver.

With Experian Boost, my numbers were on the line for an AMEX card, but they didn't pull the boosted numbers and I was declined along with a HP ding of 1 point off my credit score.

I needed a win after all the work I've put in over the last several months and saw that requesting a CLI with Cap1 would be a soft pull. I had been declined a CLI with my PayPal credit line last month (TU was 580s at the time but now it's 614). I decided to give it a shot because today was my 101st day with the account and it helps my utilization numbers ($400 PP and $300 Cap1).

Well, I went for it and was approved for an additional $100 bringing me to $400. So now my total credit for utilization is $800. So, the $32 on my PP, and $45 on my Cap1 will keep me under 10%. I will pay it down to AZEO $40 to get me at 5%, which I read somewhere under 6% is "ideal".

I wonder if the automatic CLI review at 6 months will be pushed back or if it will still happed near the end of May.

Re: Quicksilver CLI Attempted...

Congrats on your $100 increase!

Your auto-CLI will still happen in May as scheduled. You'll get the other half of your $200 Credit Steps increase at that time. My Quicksilver (then Platinum) was on a nearly identical timeline last year.
