I opened this account with a $5k SL @ 22% APR in 4/15. At the 75 days mark, I hit the luv button and received a $2k cli. I met my spend for the $100 bonus and didn't put much through it ; other than my cable bill. I pretty much sock drawered it for a few months and pulled it back out two months ago and ran my car insurance and cable bill through it and small swipes here and there, less than $400 a month. I hit the luv button several times during that time with no success. So I decided to wait exactly 6 months from the last cli, which is today, the 26th. So a few mintues after midnight, I logged in and hit the luv button and received another $2k increase bumping me up to a $9k cl. So overall a nice boost; $4k increase in a little over 8 months with low to moderate usage.
My plan is to close and combine this limit with my Venture One which is my oldest open account and has a lower APR. My question is: How long do I have to wait after a recent cli before combining my accounts? Can I do it immediately? Thank for listening.
