A thousand bucks isn't anything to laugh at, especially with limited history. You'll find it's one of those "you need credit to get credit" things. Congrats on the new plastic.

Yes, I PC’ed my Platinum to a QS with no annual fee.
Then I saw that people said that the pre-approval for Capital One was pretty accurate and saw that I prequalified for one and applied.

I have a lot to learn and in retrospect that might seem like a dumb move..but my QS is only a $500 limit and I wasn’t patient enough for waiting another 6 months for a CLI.

I wanted to increase my available credit so it made sense at the time, so I applied for the QS1.
