I almost didn't post about this one, but I figured since there's been a lot of chatter recently about Capital One and CLIs the info might be interesting to some.
I've mentioned in other threads how Capital One doesn't seem interested in giving me a CLI on my Savor MC. It was CLD'ed a couple of years ago (when so many others were as well) from $5900 to $1500. Not a big deal, but I've requested a CLI numerous times the last few months, always denied with something like "Income insufficient" or something similar.
Anyway, last night I wondered if either of my other two cards might have better luck. I was especially curious since on my other two cards, the CLI request screen is different. The Savor card has the 'old' screen with minimal questions, while my two Quicksilver cards have a newer screen that ask about possible usage, as well as what credit line is desired.
My Quicksilver WEMC had a credit line of $11k, and I requested an additional $4k to bring it up to $15k - this was immediately approved (I swear the screen barely had time to update). I've not checked the Quicksilver Visa yet, and I'm not sure if I will since honestly I'll probably never use it.
TL;DR: If you have more than one Capital One card, just because one won't give you a CLI doesn't mean the results would be the same on the others. Fun fact, I've actually been using my Savor some ($~150/month), while the QS WEMC I think has had only $5 charged in the last year.

CapOne is definitely determined to not behave predicitably when it comes to such things so it's nice to have an additional DP or two.
