I've been tied up at work quite a bit lately (I'm a supervisor at Best Buy, so holidays = no free time) but I've been successful with some soft pull CLIs!
Chase finally emailed me with the pre-approval (asking me to update my income) and they instantly doubled my Freedom limit to $7000!
About 3 days after that, I decided to pull the trigger on the pre-approval I've had sitting with DCU (they offered me an auto-loan up to $40k or a CLI up to $10,000. I put in all the requested info after clicking the link, submitted, checked back the next morning and there it was! $10,000! (Up from $4,500 initial limit a year and a half ago)! And to put icing on that cinnamon roll (not a fan of cake), my APR on the DCU Visa was dropped to 8.5%!!!
I've had a few misc Express (Comenity) soft pull CLIs, usually $400 at a time, up to $2200 now!
My VentureOne card is next on my list for a soft pull CLI, which I believe is eligible as of February1!
PS to clear any confusion, my credit has NOT been hard pulled from the pre-approval CLI offer from DCU! I've seen some back and forth, but I, personally, have not been hit with a hard pull as of yet and it's been over a week!
