After a very very long wait (months), finally I got the invite to apply the Robinhood Gold card. I then applied on 12/11.
Got it approved for $20,000 limit with APR 19.99%, which I read is the lowest that it can be.
It is doing soft pulled via EX, then the hard pull the next day as they made the card.
Congrats
Congratulations on your Robinhood Gold approval!
Congratulations! 3% CB on all purchases right? That's pretty nice, if it lasts
Congrats. Never received my invite after 8 months. I guess the lord wanted me to go to the path of US Bank
What do you think now that you've had it for a month?
Is it really 3% on ALL purchases and 5% on travel bookings? All the literature I see is careful to say "3% on category spend," so I was wondering if that left them wiggle room for exceptions.
Any issues with redeeming cashback to your Robinhood account? Does it go to your investment account, or do you have to open a Robinhood savings account?

>>> They are really 3% points that can be translated to cash conversion. At the moment it's 1:1. The 5% travel is ONLY if you are using Robinhood Travel. I think they are using Expedia as their travel platform. The downside sometimes is that you can't earn points from the respective hotels or car rentals since the amount doesn't appear on the bill.

>>> I redeemed it to the investment account. Statement credits will only appear at the generation of the statement.
My only issue is the posting of payments. If I pay the card using my own banking institution, it takes 5-7 days to post. But if I pay the card from Robinhood account, it posts right away.
That's my experience so far after using it for more than 1 month
Great, thanks for the feedback!
