I saw a recent post about SchoolsFirst and figured I’d play along... I’ve had this card open for about 7 years with very little activity. My last CLI was back in 2022, which bumped the limit from $10k to $42k. I honestly thought that was the max, and based on what I’ve read, I assumed their cards capped out at $35k. After seeing that post, I decided to test the waters. I spoke with a representative and was told the limit could actually go as high as $50k, so I went for it. It was a hard pull on Experian, and my credit score was over 800. I barely use the card... but it’s kinda cool having a $50k limit from a credit union. The reward structure remains mediocre (1.5 pts for $1).
Congrats on the increase!
I just got off the phone with them and was told the cap is $35k on credit cards. So someone seems not informed over there?
Congrats on your increase!
Nicely done!
Congratulations on your Approval!!👏🏼🍾🥂

@sto0pyd , Congratulations!!
Thank you for sharing your DP's, it's what makes this forum essential! Of course everyone will not qualify for elevated lines but knowing the ceiling is valuable.![]()
Congratulations way to go nice credit limit.
Congrats! I've been at $50k with them for a few years now.

What I beleive is happening is that some people that had the card before they reduced the max limit to 35k may have a previous amount in their profile that lets them increase to 50k. Others were already at 50k and they let us stay there.
