Haven't been back in the garden long. Decided to go for it since Shell is my go to gas station and there have been some recent approvals.

CONGRATS!!! - Seeing posts like this (and the many other approvals) only creates temptation... LOL!!! I've been eyeing this card since I use both Chevron/Texaco (I currently have a Visa version) & also Shell!!! Did you app for the Citi MC version, & then get considered for this version (or) just strictly app'd for this version (is it easier to get approved for this one...?!?)...

Yes! Temptations is hard to get over when it's something you really want/wanted
I only app'd for this version. Wasn't sure if they would counter if I tried for the MC version. I don't know much easier it was. My EX score is now 665 (dropped 2 points the other day after a new account posted on my CR). Hope that helps IF you decide to take the pludge

I've decided on the "IF" you decide to take the plunge... I have opted to wait... - I pass them all, Chevron, Texaco, & Shell (yada,yada), no matter if it's here in town or on road trips... I will just be satisfied with Chevron/Texaco for now, I am going to remain "Angelic"...!?! LOL!!! - Thanks for the 411, however!!!
