It's a gas card but it's not a gas card it really a rewards card I get emails to spend $ on food etc to get gas rebates

Possibly just have to grow the card and pay off over several months before asking for a CLI?

No idea... I just closed a Citi Sunoco card that was open for more than 21 years and the CL was a whopping $975, and if I remember correctly, it started at less than $500. But I never asked for a CLI - just took the autos when they were offered.

This particular CC is not a "high" grower, but exceptional profiles can get CLs above $5K and beyond. All CLI requests are HP unless the account receives an auto-CLI.
