Small Apple Card CLI

I applied and got approved for an Apple Card in October of 2021 with a 6K limit when I purchased an iPhone 13 with AppleCare+ on a 24-month installment plan.  I then added another 24-month installment purchase on an iPhone 13 Mini last November with AppleCare+.  I have been making installment payments on the card, with no other purchases on the card.

 

Today I got curious about this Apple Card CLI business, so I tried the chat function on my iPhone, and received a small $500 CLI on the Apple Card.  Seeing as I haven't been putting any charges other than my 2 phone purchases, I was actually surprised that a CLI was granted.

 

Just providing data point.  I now realize that had I been putting a lot of spend on this card, I most likely would have received a higher CLI.  I will definitely try doing that and see how far I can grow this thing.
