if it makes you feel any better mine started at 2k as well then after the 6th statement cut I was able to double that to 4k. Just under a month after that they approve me for another of their cards with a 10k limit! It sucks now but it'll get better.

@mgood congrats on the card! Fingers crossed it will grow quickly for you. Sometimes it's not an actual HP when they say it will be, but I can understand not wanting to take another hit.

The picture in my sig isn't of my actual card, and as far as I know all issued Cash+ cards are "signature". A lot of cashback cards are Signature/World Elite because they generate higher swipe fees than the lower tier cards do which makes the rewards programs more sustainable even if the cards themselves come with none of the perks normally associated with that level of card.
