@Anonymous wrote:The BK is still reporting. It was an instant approval. I do have them a secondary bank for about 4 years. No preapproval.
Wow!
That is unheard of! First time I’ve read/heard of a Chase instant approval with BK7 still reporting! And with that monstrous SL?!
So Chase NOT IIB then?

Wow congrats! This approval goes against all odds. Chase is an auto-denial with a BK on file, and if you're able to get a recon, the limit is definitely not $22k. You won the jackpot there. Might as well play the real lotto now

That's an awesome card. I hope to make the CSP/CSR my primary card one day. As soon as I can get my fingers off of the new app buttons that always seem to pull me in.

@Anonymous wrote:Hi Guys. I'm extremly excited that i recieved an approval from chase for the Sapphire Reserve, 6 years after my BK. I've been good with payments (0 late), i have used my credit cards a bit more, a bit high on credit usage but paying them down as we speak. I have a few others that have been good to me like Barclay and Captial One. I tried once before when this card first came out but was denied. I was also offered a 22k limit which i believe is a high credit limit. I plane to use this for my travel card as i have a few international trips planned. There is life after BK as long as you ensure to pay your credit cards on time and have good debt to ratio income.
Amex platinum, Capital One Venture 20k, Barclay 14k, Barclay Apple Credit Card 12k, Ritz Carlton 7k
Fico Experian 687, Exquifax 760, Transunion 698
OP...Why is your EQ so much higher than the others? I'm super surprised to see a score that high only 6 yrs post BK7. Is your Bk showing in PR on EQ still? I have not ever seen someone with a score that high with a BK still showing, much less only 6yrs post. It doesnt make sense, in ratio to your other scores.

That doesn't surprise me as much as the approval itself. All my scores were already above 750 last year around the 6th year mark post BK7. I'm pretty sure they were in that neighborhood even before that. I'm just jealous I couldn't get more than 500 SLs on 2 Chase cards. That was after recon, and even a supervisor's approval on one. They pulled EX above 750. Util maybe 2% and higher than normal income. A ton of people get flatout denied and no chance to recon. OP even listed a Ritz Carlton credit card with a 7k CL. It feels like there's more to this success story.
