Synchrony Amazon Store Card CLI

Big W!

So I stumbled on a few threads on this forum with members saying that there's a good chance of a CLI approval if there's some so called "luv" button on the home page. Confused, and curious as to what luv even was or meant, I did a bit of research, and decided to take a stab at it since most have said CLI's on Synchrony Amazon would only do a SP. I guess it's just a normal button, and not something creative or different, I decided to try it out.

I checked my credit report on the site since they apparently used Vantage 4.0. I got a score of 723 (I also go into great detail on my first post here with my other scores, from Vantage 3.0, to FICO 8: https://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Cards/Need-advice-on-what-path-to-take-next-with-my-CC-s-May...)

I was a bit hesistant on doing it at first, and most have said just to yolo it and put $10,000 for an asking number (especially since my SL was only at a measly $800).. So I just ended up doing it anyways, with great success!

Previous CL: $800

New SL: $2,400!

Sadly it wasn't the $10,000 I had blindly aimed for, but it's still a huge increase, and I'm pretty ecstatic!

Congrats on the CLI!

You put in the $10k to not cut yourself short and leave anything on the table.

The "luv button" is the CLI request button and the creditor may give you some "luv" by increasing your limit. Many creditors use this, hence the term "luv button". Nothing special other than the chance at increased credit!
