Congrats! Were they instant approvals, and were those the amounts you asked for? I ask because if it's done the same way as with my Lowe's card, if I ask for a specific amount and it's instantly granted, it means they're willing to go higher. Ask again for a bigger amount and if it's granted, try a third time. If you ask for more than they'll give, they'll counter.

5K is the amount I asked for.  Instant approvals on both.   I am happy with that for now.  I may ask for another increase a few months from now.  I feel like I'll probably get it.

With the Amazon card, I originally had 1200 and they increased it due to "high use" to 1800. I then tried a CLI to 5K today and was approved. I feel I can even go higher, but 5K is more than enough for me right now. I only had the card for ~4 months or so.

I can't get synch to give me an increase if it were to save my life. Congrats on the approvals!

My amazon card is gonna be stuck at 400 and paypal at 700 for eternity :/

I just came across this thread, smashed the luv button at Amazon and voila. Instantly granted, went from 3400.00 to 6000.00 in the blink of an eye.  I'm pretty content with the 6k I have now, will wait another six months and ask again.

My Wife got a bump on her Amazon from $600 to $2500 yesterday, No HP.  Asked for $2,500 and was instantly approved.  She had been denied twice since 3rd statement cut for not enough experience language.  All SP's.  She has run maybe $1k per month through it and I pay it off as we go.   I did update her "credit score" when logged in prior to requesting this CLI as someone had suggested to "assure a new SP".  No idea if that helped but couldn't hurt as her scores are rising.  Her V4 was 666...  a beastly score.  Her TU Fico 08 is all the way up from 402 at the low to 678 currently.  She still has (2) CO's and (2) bigger $5k CA's that will be gone no later than 13 months from now.

The DW has me do all credit related activities includiing apps, CLI requests and credit report issues so it is actually me building her CL's once again.  With fewer derogs on her reports and scores 20-30 points higher than mine, I get to live vicariously credit wise through her as my CC profile is pretty stagnate at the moment!  Soft Pull CLI's are excellent for brightening ones day.
