Synchrony Question

Hi Gang

  I know that there isn't some magical approval chart to go by...but I'm curious about approval rates for some of the Synchrony cards.

Over the past 30 days, I was approved for Walmart($500), declined for Amazon and then approved for Care Credit($2k). Is there another

card along those lines that I shoud try for? I would like to get 1 or 2 more tradelines and then hibernate for a while so they can grow. Thx!

Did you apped for the Amazon store or Amazon Visa?

If you must have a store card then I would go with the Lowes card. I will grow quickly with you.

Don't app any more for synchrony if you got 2 denials. That's all the exposure they feel comfortable extending to you at the moment. Have you look at comenity?

Well, I haven't app'd for any Comenity cards. I used the SCT to get VS and Eddie Bauer earlier this month and made small purchases or xmas gifts. I'm not sure there are any other Comenity cards that I would be interested in. I'm trying to keep my apps limited to cards I would actually use.

I am with you, but usually when you get denied from the same bank twice, it's not a good sign. Happy apping.

   they have some decent visa cards.   i myself am never apping for a card again that doesn't have a quality fit in my line-up.
