Lol! I took last week off from the forum. Buying a house and have been busy getting all sorts of documents to them.
Congrats!! I hope all goes well, be sure to be prepared to provide blood samples as I think that's about the only thing that they forgot to ask for when I was in the process...
Thanks. This is our second house and I really forgot how painful it is! It will be worth it when it's over.
My card arrived today. Interesting enough, it's a Platinum card and not signature card. When I applied I asked specifically was this a signature version and the csr said anything over 5k was a signature version. Well that wasn't necessarily the case I see. The miles earned appear to the be the same as the signature version along with the 25,000 points for spending $1,000. I don't see where the below benefits are included with the Platinum version. It does say when your credt limit is at least 5k which mine is 4X that. I don't think I'll call because I don't want to raise any eyebrows on my account I have plenty of other signature/world accounts that I don't even use the benefits anyway.
Enjoy Visa Signature benefits4, like complimentary 24/7 concierge service, access to exclusive events, special shopping perks and more, when your credit limit is at least $5,0003
Called to activate account and got automated system. Went through the prompts and then it said it was transferring my call. The csr came on and asked a couple of questions (name on card/address). Verified that and card was activated. I asked about the Signature version since I had to talk to them anyway. She said this card doesn't come in a signature version eventhough their website clearly says signature version, but I'm okay with the Platinum since I get the 25,000 bonus miles. When I registered the card for online access, the website looks exactly like the Diner's Club Mastercard website. I'm looking forward to reading about your approvals now that I know this is real.
Teetering about app-ing for a card from TD Bank but not sure if I'm gonna go for this one. I didn't know it comes with an annual fee. Thinking of going for one of the non-fee cards or the Ameritrade card. There are 2 branches where I live so I presume I can app for any of them.

I applied for the TD Cash Rewards and TD First Class cards as well. Both apps were denied due to outside their service area. No HP was done for either of those two apps. Hope that helps in your decision.
Any news? Anyone??? Anyone????

Thanks Omar. Appears everyone who applied will remain silent unless approved.
