I just want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone on this forum. Almost exactly a year ago I discovered this website and really started to tackle my credit. At the time my score was around 400 across all three bureaus. Now, my score is in the high 600s. I am still slowly working on paying off debt/collections, as I'm only in my mid/late-20s and about a year away from graduating with my docturate and making actual money (hah!). 

The last few months I've been able to graduate from my Discover unsecured card, obtained at $25k limit at Navy, and NOW I WAS JUST APPROVED FOR CHASE UNLIMITED with a $5.4k limit! For some reason my Navy nRewards still hasn't graduated after having it since August 2020, but hopefully that will soon! 

Thank you all so much! I couldn't have done any of this without y'alls help and infinite knowledge/wisdom!

First of all, congratulations on almost getting your PhD, that's epic. 

Second of all, congrats on your cards!!!! I started a few months ago at 453 and now I'm at 640.
