Got a Credit Karma alert that my Equifax score went up 10 points. Thought it was my new Amex hitting (still hasn’t reported). Checked and it’s my Target Mastercard. Got an increase from 2.5K - 3.5K. It’s the only card where I carry a balance and I use it ALOT. And though I don’t pay it off completely, I do pay it down with a large amount before the due date.
I haven’t updated my income on the Target Redcard site in about 2 months. I had read that you should update it, even if it hasn't changed to help get a CLI.
Funny thing, I keep freezes on all my reports. I unfroze all 3 to apply for the Amazon Prime Visa since I didn’t know which would get the HP. I kept them open about 2 days and during that time is when the CLI with Target hit. If the freeze had been in place I may not have gotten the increase. Now I’m contemplating whether I should unfreeze more often.

Unfreezing your CRs as you have suggested here would have no effect on a potential auto CLI all current creditors have access to your CRs via SP account reviews even in a frozen condition. Congrats on your auto luv
