Target CLI!!

Target has been very generous to me as of late. I started at $500, 3 months in got $500 more, 6 months another $500 and yesterday another $700. $2200 credit line in 9 months. Waiting for the Visa or MC offer from Target.

Congrats on the CLI!!!  To get those increases, did you let a balance report each month?  I've had my card about the same amount of time, but only got one increase at the 3 month. My current credit line is $1000. I do use the card, but I don't let the balance report each month.

The one thing I learned on this board about Target is to allow a balance to report. They want to make a little interest off of us and as a reward they increase our credit line. Good luck!!

when i had balance on card  they didn't increase it for almost 1 year.pif and didn't use card for 3 months and then boom 3k increase and upgrade to mc.

Target hates me. I've had a red card with a $500 since 2007 with no CLI love. Initially, I always let some type of balance report and used it regularly. I haven't used it the last year and it's been PIF as well.

I've given up. But kudos to you.

Yeah, sometimes there's no rhyme or reason as to how they give CLI. Nordstrom is the same bank and I can't get them to budge.
