Was going to just do the debit card but I hate things being linked to my deposit accounts

Congrats to you on your very awesome approval!  I, too, am very leary about linking certain cards to my deposit accounts.  When Target was hacked a couple of years ago, during holiday shopping, my account was compromised.  Closed my card, and have not considered reopening another one.  Enjoy your card, and the very nice SL!

Congrats on approval!   It's definitely a useful card for the 5% discount and free S&H on target.com.   I agree with not having a debit card directly linked to your bank account; added security is a big benefit of credit cards.

That is the EXACT reason that I have gas cards.... Since I live in Florida, gas pump skimmer capital of the entire USA...
