I use my Target card quite a bit. Not as much as I could, but fairly often
Every December on Target's 5% off gift card day, I stack it with Discover's "get 5% back on Target" and buy myself a $500 gift card. So that lasts me quite a bit but also means neglecting my Red Card
Also sometimes, like right now, I neglect using my Red Card in favor of hitting large SUBs on other cards or targeted offers. Literally, like a day or two before the auto CLI, the Target cashier asked me if I'd like to open a Red Card. I said "oh no, I already have one" yet proceeded to swipe my USAA card cuz they sent me a targeted offer of "spend $500 in 1 month for $50 back"
Target account data points (rounded):
2020
Promotions savings: $316
Target Circle: $68
RedCard: $88
Target Circle earnings: $36
(back calculated, suggesting I spent at least $2250 there, cuz 5% of 1750 is $88 plus the $500 gift card, and again I often neglect my Target card)
2021
Promotions savings: $196
Target Circle: $18
RedCard: $135
Target Circle earnings: $17
(back calculated, possibly spent $3200+)
2022
Promotions savings: $14
Target Circle: $0
RedCard: $4
Target Circle earnings: $1
(back calculated, possibly spent $580+ )
^ these numbers could again be higher, but I often neglect my Target card to hit other bonuses
I sometimes use Target coupons, sometimes not.. when I'm bored in line or happen to remember it exists, I log in and add a bunch of coupons, but I don't regularly stalk coupons
I'd say Target is my #1 grocery store yea.. rarely, I shop at traditional grocery stores, use Amazon, or whatever happens to be nearest. When I have a choice, mostly I choose Target. I definitely go at least once a week, sometimes twice
I sometimes use my Target card to pay at their Starbucks kiosks but often don't do the phone number login at Starbucks cuz it's too much a hassle.
Sometimes I PIF before the statement cut, sometimes I wait to pay until after the cut, but I never pay interest
I don't think my card has graduated yet, but a CLI gives me hope ![]()

Congratulations on your apple CLI!!
Congrats on hitting the 🎯
Congratulations!

That's terrific!! Congratulations on your Target Approval!! 🎉🥂👏
Congratulations on your Target CLI!
Thanks for the DPs and grats on the auto move up ![]()
Congrats on the increase!
Congrats on the REDcard autoCLI
Just a heads up, I've only seen bpurchses count towards auto-CLI on REDcards if you pay them after you let the balance post. Defitinely smart to never pay interest (especially with REDcard, the APR isn't exactly great).
Update - like 6 days after the CLI notification, I got a snail mail letter saying my card graduated
