Td Bank First Class

Well im not saying the bank itself if first class. Far from it. But since im leaving in 1 month on a 5 week trip to asia. I just wanted another card. Don't know why since i have 27.

hehehe

Anyway. lets get back to the subject at hand. I used to have a Td Bank Credit card that i canceled at the end of 2014.

I had a $500 limit and they kept treating it like gold with a 1% reward Structure. plus you had a $25 redepmtion rate. I was like screw this card. Cancel it. But since i still bank with them. I went into branch the otherday to put a nice check into my account to pay the bills when im out of country. The Funny thing every one in the bank knows me by a  first name basic. including the tellers. So they never ask me for any id or anything. they just always say what do you need Tony. or Taxi. I say a couple hundred bucks and they caugh it up. Any how. The girl said i see you still have a credit card opened that you don't use. I said what. I closed that thing 18 months ago. She said no its still here.

I said whatever. it will sit there. I explained to her the lack luster features and she said well we changed from the Cash rewards to two new cards. One is called. CASH> and the other First Class.

So if you apply you  can get 12 months no Apr and $100 cash bonus after 90 days. I said., not really interested but she gave me application anyway. Well i was thinking and went online and filled it out. They do not have instant decisions kind of like My Diners Club has to go to UW> and they look it over. I did that about 12 days ago. 2 days ago i get alert that they looked at my Experian. ok. now what? they don't have a application status online either. So old school. I finally got a number and called it and they said your application was approved. But they did not say for how much. It is a Visa signature so im hoping at least 5k. In anycase i got it and will inform everyone. just not sure if any other members have this card. Thanks for listening to my story. Taxi.

Congrats!  I checked out their website it it does say that card has a $5k min starting line, so you should enjoy!

Thanks. I'm actually hoping for 10k as I have at least 6 cards with 10k limits. And one with 20k. Maybe 8 cards with 5k limits. But whatever they give is fine.

If you want the TL after a year, maybe they will convert to the Cash. Not sure about their policy. Congrats on the approval!

Well i finally called them and they gave me the Details on the new card. Appears the old card that i closed 18 months ago is still in their files and shows as opened on their end. However my last statement was 10-28-14 How the hell. Anyway, They mailed the new Td bank card out yesterday and my limit is 5k. So im not upset at all. So since the 18th of april 3 cards. BofA Fnbo and now Td bank. Im done. Time to run back to the garden now. All 3 pulls were on my lovely experian which i had gotten down to 3 inqs. Now back up to 6. What a shame. Thanks all.

Congrats Taxi.  Nice to see another TD approval.  You know they gave me the TD Aeroplan Visa card late last year for a whopping 22k after a recon.  I recently applied for the TD Rewards card and was denied and approved on recon for $500.
