I got my membership situated and appd for credit card and loc and they came back wanting a stack of documents. It already took a few days of back and forth with documents to get the membership started so I don't think I'm going to keep playing the game. My scores are between 845 and 850 FICO. With aaoa of 10.2 years and 4 accounts at 47 years old. Income in the middle $100k range. And util almost O. Just figured I'd post my experience and particulars to add to the collection of information being gathered here.

Nope my agent is moving super slow. Just submitted my app yesterday. Claim that it was too late on Friday. Kinda ticked but it won't do anything to be upset. I'm sure mine will come sometime next week 😥

You already took the pull. Once you submit all the docs you should get a decision either that day or the next. For some of us it has been a rather long process, but the card is worth the process as of now.

I don't care about the hp I think only I have a couple anyways. I appd for becu, uploaded identication docs and got $15k (their max) personal line of credit. Nothing else needed. I don't think I should (nor should anyone) have to give tax docs for a credit card or loc. It's just my opinion. I can maybe see Justification if someone's scores are low and profile has negative markers but they have decent income. But not with a great credit score and report. To me that's what a credit report is for, to judge my credit worthiness.

Was approved on 4/21 midday (branch manager told me she would send card out that day) - still anxiously awaiting card in the mail![]()

I received my AOD debit and USAlliance debit yesterday after receiving my AOD credit card the other day.
I kinda wish my AOD credit card was the same graphic as the AOD debit card (white card with flag across it).
But to compare the USAlliance Debit card to AOD, USAlliance is very cheap and thin, hope to never use it.
Good news was my USAlliance received 3% on everything including Plastiq - School loans, so I was excited about that. So no need for a 3% mastercard yet, but I can still dream about one.
Now to see if I get 3% from AOD through Plastiq.

I'm stingy with my hp. I make everyone count lol. Before that I only had 1 on my report and that was for a refinance from DCU for an auto refinance. I do agree they are very intrusive. I submitted my passport and a selfie yet the rep still asked me for my driver's license stating because I opened the account out of state they want to be sure it's legit. A passport carriers the same weight if not more than an ID.

Yes, a passport has its purpose as a form of ID to prove you're a citizen, but I think that’s where it stops for them. I think the drivers license proof is to ensure the account details are correct to where you live.

No that's what the mail did seeing that my DL has my permanent address lol. Think he was just being difficult since he asked for it like two days later after the cc was already approved with previous docs. As a result all my documents list my passport and not my DL, but it's over so won't dwell on it.

Agreed. This is a small credit union and they are getting tons of out-of-state applicants. Small financial institutions usually tend to be more careful, conservative, and thorough anyway doing their due diligence, but especially under the circumstances. While I did have to provide more documention than a normal application and answer more questions*, I understand their caution and think the card is exceptional enough to play along. If this were just a basic no-rewards VISA or minor cash-back card, no way would it be worth the hassles. But 3% and low-rate is unheard of! (*A selfie? And who asks for personal references anymore?
