Wasn't planning on another app after my venture x approval, but after reading about truist seeming to only do SP, I checked out the preqaul page, and was approved for five different cards. None of them really looked appealing until I got to the beyond, which was offering a 11.19% apr. I don't typically carry balances, but figured it wouldn't be a bad thing to have for emergency situations.
I accepted the offer, and was approved with a $4500 SL. Not great relative to my other cards, but I can't complain since there was no HP. Back to gardening, unless a no HP 10% card jumps out and grabs me, lol.
Edit: so I just double checked the account disclosure and it says 12.99% for purchases and BTs, and 14.99% for CA. that certainly doesn't seem right, but I'll take the win for now.
